Under the Sun
July is a vibrant celebration of nature in full bloom. The long, sun-drenched days bring wildflowers, ripening fruits, and buzzing pollinators to life, filling gardens, fields, and hedgerows with colour and activity. Trees offer cooling shade, while birds and insects thrive in the warmth.
It’s a powerful time to connect with the earth – whether tending to a garden, walking barefoot in the grass, or simply pausing to appreciate the beauty and abundance of our living planet.

Some astrological themes for July:
Emotional intelligence and nurturing; creative courage and celebration; discipline and maturity in dreams; quick thinking and playful curiosity; grounded love and care through actions.
In a time when our planet and its people are facing immense suffering and turmoil, it is essential that we resist being pulled into the vibration of fear. Let us not be swept away by media-driven fear and propaganda.
Instead, trust your inner wisdom and focus on raising your vibration – this, in itself, is a powerful act of service. Now more than ever, it is vital to stay rooted in love, compassion, and hope. These are the energies that can counteract the destruction and disconnection fuelled by war and division. We are powerful co-creators of our reality, and through love, we have the ability to shift, transform, and heal our world.
I believe in our collective strength – and that together, we can rise and create a tidal wave of love.

July Affirmation:
I choose love over fear. I stay grounded in compassion, connected to truth, and aligned with the healing power of hope. Together, we rise.

Garden Festival Gratitude!

This year’s Hellens Garden Festival was a fantastic success – thank you to everyone who made it possible!

As a small team of part-time working mums, we’re so grateful for the incredible support from Hellens staff, volunteers, scouts, friends, and family – we truly couldn’t do it without you.Huge thanks to all the brilliant musicians, artists, speakers, makers, and our wonderful visitors. Our mission remains to inspire curiosity, reflection, and meaningful conversations about people, the planet, and the environment. We aim to keep the festival accessible by keeping ticket prices low, and we appreciate everyone’s support for this year’s online-only ticket trial.

If you’ve attended before you will know that HGF is more than just a day out – it’s a vital fundraising event in support of St Michaels Hospice, Back to the Wild and other grass roots beneficiaries.

If you’d like to get involved, either as a contributor, workshops leader, exhibitor or volunteer, get in touch!

Vibrational Delights!
Thank you to all those that attended my Summer Solstice weekend sound baths. Such beautiful sessions, much cool relief from the heat and I feel a very important coming together to unite and raise our vibrations in these chaotic times.

That week I also had the absolute pleasure of seeing my old friend Mendi Singh perform over here in the shire, as Tala Tarang, playing with his incredible musical partner, harpist, Eleanor Turner. Mesmerising, beautiful, calming and so lovely to see Mendi after so long. I highly recommend if you can get to one of their gigs!

I’m also really excited to be attending a talk this week by Veda Austin – her only UK date! If you’re not familiar with her work, Veda is a water researcher exploring the consciousness of water through ice imagery. Her research shows how water responds to thought and intention – truly fascinating and deeply thought-provoking. I highly recommend checking her out!
