Simmering Summer Sounds
As we near closer to the Summer Solstice, the element is strong.
The longest hours of daylight are upon us, drawing us out to bask in the sunshine and wide open skies. Enjoy walking barefoot on the warm soil, splashing in rivers and seas and drying off in the sun. Nature is in full growth, bursting with colour and vitality!
Celebrations and festivals fill the horizon and our days are speckled with sunshine and merriment. Campfires, dancing and music. Bees, flowers and blossom. Leaves gather light, bees gather nectar and through them an alchemy takes place. Offer thanks to this deep restorative nourishment from the warmth and power of the sun.
Spring to Summer News
What a busy couple of months its been – things have certainly picked up with momentum and the energy is go!
It’s been a great few months of sound bathings, singing, workshops and a little rest inbetween!
I’ve been helping produce Hellens Garden Festival this year – only a couple of weeks left before the weekend!
Anyone wanting a lovely day out in the beautiful grounds of Hellens Manor, with inspiring talks, stalls, workshops, crafts, art and music, come along!

Retreats
We enjoyed a wonderful deeply restorative day on our 1 day Sound & Yoga Retreat. Thanks to Julie & Henry as always for their goodness and offerings.
We shall be running another on Saturday 23rd September. This will be a special Autumn Equinox day retreat of sound, movement and meditation. Please email me for more details or to book on!
 
We’ve also set 2 dates for 2024 for our weekend retreats at Hellens Manor, Much Marcle.
New Moon weekend, 8th-10th March and also 18th-20th of October 2024.

Singing!
I’ve been so lucky to have already enjoyed a lot of singing this year! I had an amazing few days with The Unthanks band, taking part in their singing retreat in Newcastle. If you like singing and folk music I cannot recommend this enough!
My singing sistren have gathered for a weekend and already a number of full moon sings! These continue to be such a healing tonic.
I will be running a family friendly singing workshop at Starry Skies festival this year (28th-30th July) – hope to see some of you there!
I will also be running a sound bath at the Landworkers Alliance Skills Fair on Sunday 23rd July.
