| Mabon Magic After a busy and varied summer I am returning to my regular sound work, feeling refreshed (slightly!), cleansed and ready for a new chapter! September brings us Mabon / Autumn Equinox. This is where we find a natural pause, a moment of balance where light and darkness is equal. This gift of a still point gives us the time to review what we have dreamt,what we have sewn and then created and brought to life. This is a great time of year to store the last of the fruitful hedgerows, storing berries, nuts and whatever you have a glut of to sustain us for the winter months. At this abundant time of year, we show gratitude for the harvest, for all that we are privileged to have, giving thanks, a prayer or a song to the plants we harvest. | September News Thank you to all those that have made our summer months vibrant, nourishing and action filled! Sounding with the Land Skills Fair, singing at Starry Skies Festival, more singing with friends round fires and much water therapy by the sea. After a very powerful Super Full Blue Moon, my kit is now cleansed and cleared by the light of the moon, ready for the new season. I’m raring to get going on a full Autumn of sound activity. Retreats We still have places on our 1 day Autumn Equinox Yoga & Sound Retreat, Saturday 23rd September. at Birmingham Buddhist Centre. Julie Baker and I will be running another deeply nourishing one day retreat of sound, movement and meditation. No experience necessary, lunch & equipment included!   2024 weekend retreats at Hellens Manor, Herefordshire: 8th-10th March – New Moon Expansion and Cleansing 18th-20th of October 2024 – Alignment and Connection Connect with your highest wisdom through the vibration of sound and energy movement of yoga. Both weekends include 2 nights stay at Hellens Manor in your own room; Iyengar yoga, Sound Therapy, drum & singing workshops; all your meals and snacks, evening fire, walks and so much more.
